چکیده
In this contribution, the measurement of centrality dependence nuclear modification factor ( R AA ) non-prompt D 0 meson in Pb-Pb collisions at √S NN = 5.02 TeV is presented. This provides important constraints to in-medium mass energy loss and hadroniza-tion beauty quark. addition, first measurements s + production central semi-central are discussed. The provide further information on hadronization B mesons. Finally, D-meson elliptic flow shown. can help investigate degree thermalization quarks hot dense QCD medium.

Measuring beauty production in Pb–Pb collisions at the LHC via single electrons in ALICE
The ALICE experiment [1] will study proton–proton, proton–nucleus and nucleus– nucleus collisions at the LHC, with centre-of-mass energies per nucleon–nucleon (NN) pair, √ sNN, of 5.5 TeV for Pb–Pb, 8.8 TeV for p–Pb, and 14 TeV for pp. The primary physics goal of ALICE is the study of the properties of QCD matter at the energy densities of several hundred times the density of atomic nuclei that...
متن کاملMeasurement of D-meson production in Pb—Pb collisions at the LHC with ALICE
The measurement of D-meson production in heavy-ion collisions at LHC energy provides insights into the mechanisms of interaction of charm quarks in the hot and dense medium formed in these collisions. ALICE results on the D-meson nuclear modification factor and azimuthal anisotropy in Pb–Pb collisions at √ sNN = 2.76 TeV are presented.

We report recent results from the ALICE experiment the Large Hadron Collider on open charmed hadron production in pp collisions at ? s “ 2.76 and 7 TeV, and Pb–Pb collisions at sNN “ 2.76 TeV. Open charmed hadrons are kinematically fully reconstructed in the hadronic decay channels D0 Ñ K ́π`, D` Ñ K ́π`π`, and D ̊`p2010q Ñ D0π`and identified through their invariant mass. Combinatorial background ...
متن کاملThe ALICE HMPID detector ready for collisions at the LHC
ALICE has been specifically optimized to study heavy-ion collisions at the LHC, up to a charged particle density of 8000 per unit of rapidity in central heavy-ion collisions at √ sNN = 5.5 TeV. The High Momentum Particle Identification Detector (HMPID) has a proximity focusing geometry with a liquid C6F14 Cherenkov radiator coupled to Multi-Wire Pad Chambers (MWPC) equipped with CsI photocathod...
